Temples of Nirvana is a new company with many years of experience behind us. Each of us has been involved in different companies over the last twenty years taking clients and groups on treks and tours in Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet and India. We have come together to use our wealth of knowledge and experience to provide a service that creates an unforgettable journey to the Himalayas. We are both Nepal and UK based.
Akka Lama
Akka has been facilitating groups from all over the world for the last 20 years. He has a wealth of connections in USA, Europe, Australia and many others. Throughout this time he has been Chairman of a charity DCWC (Development of Children and Women Centre www.dcwcnepal.org.np) and manager of Buddha eye trekking company and has amassed great knowledge of arranging and leading international groups on treks and tours in the Himalayas. Akka has a reputation through all who know him of delivering and going above and beyond clients expectations
Gary Collier
Since 2002 Nepal has been like a second home to Gary. Based in the UK gary has visited Nepal well over 50 times and many of those have been bringing groups over for charity treks to the Himalayas or Buddhist groups to Bhutan, Tibet and India. He is founder and Chairman of UK based charity Love Nepal (www.lovenepal.org.uk) which has raised funds for many projects in Nepal and has an adopted Nepali daughter who has been in the UK since 2011. He also founded and was proactive in a trekking company called Sacred Himalaya for many years
Guna Waiba Lama
Guna Waiba Lama. A kinder soul you will not meet. Very proactive over the last twenty years in trekking, travel and playing a big role in the charity DCWC (Development of Children and Women Centre www.dcwcnepal.org.np). Along with Akka Guna played a big role the trekking company Buddha eye Treks for many years. He is meticulous in his organisation and goes about his duties in a typical laid back manner, never getting flustered and ensuring everything that needs taking care of gets taken care of.
